Adult Confirmation – The Adult Confirmation program assists persons 21 years of age and older to prepare for the affirmation and commitment to the faith asked of a fully alive adult Catholic member of the Church.

A mandatory in-person Orientation/Class will take place TBD
Classes will be held as needed.

Candidates and sponsors are required to attend Orientation and ALL classes. 
Confirmation will take place at the St. Francis Cathedral Basilica in Santa Fe TBD

Qualifications:

• You MUST be at least 21 years of age and out of High School

• If you are Married you must be married by the Catholic Church in order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. For those who are married by the Law (JP) MUST have their marriage blessed by the Catholic Church before being Confirmed.

• Any previous marriages must be declared nullified by the Church before a Catholic Marriage takes place.

• If you are single you CANNOT be living with somebody (cohabitation) even if you are planning to get married in the future. (VERY IMPORTANT)!
• Must choose a sponsor who is willing to attend all classes with you.                                                 (See Sponsor Requirements below).

You will need to complete the following before classes begin:

• Provide an updated Baptismal Certificate from the parish where you were baptized.
• Provide a Sponsor Certificate from the parish where your sponsor is registered.
• Schedule a interview with Fr. Garcia.
