Prayer and Charity:
Sacrificial giving in the forms of time, talent, and treasure is also a form of penance. You can make a point daily to take advantage of opportunities to share your time, treasure and talents through alms giving, showing kindness and mercy to others and finding ways to get involved with the Parish and the Community.
Prayer is a very powerful way to grow in your faith and relationship with God. You may want to attend mass more often during the week, or try signing up for an hour in the Adoration Chapel once a week, or maybe attend the weekly Rosary every Wednesday at 12:10pm at the NMHU Newman Chapel.
